Service Description
Butterfly Pinning 101 is a class in which we will discuss different pinning techniques, where to source specimens, rehydration methods, we will perform the actual pinning/ spreading of 2 butterfly specimens, discuss proper storage and how to display them, and then you will go home with 2 fully pinned butterfly specimens! Everything you need for the class will be provided: 2 butterfly specimens, tweezers, pinning needles, pinning board, pinning paper, and a shadow box. You will get to keep all the materials for future use/ at home practice. I will have a variety of butterfly specimens to choose from and everyone gets to pick 2 butterfly specimens to work with All participants have to be 18+ years old No previous knowledge of specimen pinning is required *No refunds unless it's over a week in advance*
